It's CANDY!
I said NO to cigs & haven't gone back.... oh yea go me! But now I've turned to candy... uh oh! Red Hots are my fav!!!! I have them in my car & I'm popping them in my mouth here & there. I also luv my Jolly Ranchers :) So basically I dropped one really bad habit to pick up another mildly bad habit..... hmmm I'm ok with that!
And AMERICAN IDOL :]
Yep I've gotten soooooo into this season of American Idol!!! I watched the first couple of seasons, then couldn't stomach it. Tuned in this season to see Steven Tyler mainly & I got hooked! I took hubby down with me so that's our chillax time... sitting & watching American Idol. It's awesome!!!! I haven't picked a fav yet.... unless you count Steven (luv me some Steven Tyler).
Well that's all for my fun/random blog.....
On a serious note: Today at work a large group of students & some teachers came into my work. This evening I learned one of the vehicles they were traveling in was in an accident & one student died. It's shocking & tragic! I don't know much, but I do know other students were injured also. Prayers for all involved.... the students, the teachers, & all family & friends of those affected by this tragedy!
Be thankful for loved ones! Treasure each & every second you get with them! God Bless

V-Day is coming!!!! / Keeps Going Going Going... until it STOPS!
I <3 Valentines Day! <3 <3 <3
Honestly its really alone time with the hubby I love ;) Shhh... don't tell anybody....
Date night doesn't happen often with 4 kiddos! Got a sitter lined up & everything. This year we're not going out on Valentines (thank goodness!), instead we're doing Valentine's this weekend. Hoping this means its not crazy busy, but who am I kidding??? It will be insane out n' about!!! Oh well, still looking forward to battling the crowds along side my honey bun!
Then on actual Valentine's we're gonna enjoy time as a family, nice dinner at home & dessert & gifts! Yay! I'm thinking steak... yummmmm.... we'll see. This year we did so good & barely got any candy! Ok ok ok.... hubby insisted we not buy tons of candy like usual & after years I finally listened. Thinking this will be a great V-Day!
No this isn't my fav holiday..... not even close. I'm in love with Halloween & Christmas takes 2nd place. Then there's Easter, 4th July, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving..... then Valentine's, St Patrick's Day..... And now I'm drawing a blank.... hmmmm.... Oh well!
Time to cuddle with hubby & watch Paranormal Activity 2.... HOLD ME!!!

Well the V-Day blog was supposed to be published lastnight.... but laptop died! So, I'm doing a double blog!
This AM on the way to work I got ANOTHER DAMN FLAT TIRE!!!!! OMG!! This is the 3rd flat in a month and a half. I have some major tire bad luck! My totally awesome night-in-shinning-armor hubby came to my rescue & left work to put the donut on.... in the freezing cold! While I sat in his car & watched him :) He is my hero! Thanks to him I was only 40min late for work. But alas... now I get to spend my day off getting a new tire... blah! Not like I ever really get a day off to do nothing anyhow...
Welp... I'm gonna end this blog with this: Omg! Did anyone see the Transformer dude on American Idol lastnight????? He couldn't sing worth jack, but boy he made the most kick ass costume ever!!!! I WANT THAT COSTUME SO BAD!!!!!!!!!

Cheater Cheater
Yep, hubby is a CHEATER!!!!
We made a pact to quit smoking, I made a plan to cut down then quit, got down to 2 a day & hubby suggests we just be done with it, I agree.... We've been cig free for over 2 1/2wks now.... well I HAVE anyhow! Dave - cig cheating hubby - bought a pack Monday & has been hiding this fact from me until recently! Sooooo not cool!!!
Actually I'm not nearly as pissed as I should be.... Silver Lining: I'm doing better than hubby.... still 100% cig free for me!!!! Therefore, I WIN!!!!!! Not exactly thrilled with him basically lying to me, but that doesn't make him the devil or anything. Doesn't make wifey too happy, but I'm not about to pitch a huge fit over a pack of cigs.
It's always the LYING part that gets me the most.... even lying-by-omission irritates me! That's what I'm still trying to drill into Dave's brain - I can forgive a lot, people are human & make mistakes... it's the lying about said mistakes &/or just lying for the hell of it, that's what's gonna loose my respect! Idk why I'm such a nag when it comes to this subject, but please please don't lie to me.... don't insult my intelligence & don't spare my feelings! I myself suck at lying! No really, I do! I'm no saint, yes I've lied, but that's very rare... might as well assume I'm telling the truth, since most likely I am.

Mother Nature's Being Hormonal!!!
Like way way hormonal.... PMS to the MAX!!! I think someone should slip her a Midol, or Xanax, or both.....
Why am I saying this??? Well because I live in good ol' East TX where the weather can never quite make up its mind! It's HOT, it's cooollllddd (brrr), nope Hot Hot Hot again, then FReeZinG!!! I'm wearing shorts, no I'm wearing a parka, nope it's shorts, get out that snow suit!! Like 80 one day, then BAM it's SNOWING!!!!
I was in shock!! I soooo doubted the possibility of it actually snowing again this winter... Since we're lucky to see snow once a damn year & it's more likely to happen on EASTER than in a Winter Month!! Yep I'd say that explains us East Texan's freakin the FreaK out every damn time it for REAL snows here!!! We go: "OMG SNOW!!! How do I drive in this crap?" At least that's what I do!
Today I woke at the butt crack of dawn all thanks to hubby! Him: "holy shit!!!" Me: "wtf?! what's wrong?!" (then I proceed to bolt out of bed in a panic, only to realize he's starring out the window at the dark whiteness going on... yep snow). And what do I do next?? Get just as giggly excited as hubby, then run to the other side of the house & wake my 2 older children & my niece Britt who stayed the night. Half hr later & it's like a family slumber party going on in the living room... only kiddo still in bed at that time was Micah (who for some odd reason slept in till 9am!). No TV, no music, no toys.... just us snuggled up in blankets with the hopes of falling back asleep, but enjoying each other's company too much :] I'd have to say it was the greatest morning I've had in a long time!!!
Chilled there for awhile before getting up & venturing out side to really check out the snow. Cleaned a bit, then had some yummy pancakes & hot cocoa. Tried to make a giant snowman..... couldn't even manage a darn snowball!! I've never felt snow so powdery! Now back in our warm cozy home, watching some movies & being super lazy.... I'm lovin it!!!!!
Later I'm hoping I'm brave enough to drive in this... Gotta take Kels (my 11yr old daughter) dress shopping for the Father/Daughter dance... which is tomorrow night!!! YIKES!!!! I've put off shopping for far too long! Speaking of the dance.... Kels is so excited!!! I believe this is the 5th yr for her & hubby to attend the dance? It's always right before Valentine's & it's just so sweet. They both get all dressed up & he gets her flowers or a corsage. Have to practically beg hubby to get pics for me to see! I'm kinda jealous they have a special thing, but also think its the cutest thing ever! So, yea this blog has gone way off topic....
Well.... Mother Nature please behave!!! Thankful that damn groundhog didn't see his shadow... ready for Spring weather!!! And some much needed Spring Cleaning! That's all I got... tata for now!
